Against my better judgement we sat in a movie theater on this beautiful day.. We decided to see Alice Through The Looking Glass. I have mixed emotions about the movie since I am so fond of the original Alice and Wonderland. The movie was interesting and had some background in some of the characters which I thought was cool. Once Hollywood knows they have a hit movie they cant bare to sit there and let it be they have to mess with it and make more movies about it. My thoughts are just leave it alone, don't ruin the classics. The mad Hatter character looked slightly different form the first on, like Johnny Depp had gained some weight Does anyone know if there is going to be more of these movies? More importantly what did you guys think of the movie..

Well there is the very first one that Disney made way back when. Then there was Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp and then there is the one Alice Through The Looking Glass, so only 3 total. But I have a strange feeling they are going to keep going, although now that I think about it maybe there is a series of books that they are following.

Haven't seen it, probably won't either. However, I agree that hollywood likes to take a perfectly good thing and ruin it.

@Deepizzaguy I dont understand why they have to update movies like they do. I will admit that some of them are not that bad, I cant think of the names off the top of my head but they all havent been complete failures. I am just wondering if they are going to remake Jaws, I really hope they dont do that

You are not kidding. I get flak from fans of the "Batman vs Superman Dawn Of Justice" that I am not with the times of today's super hero movies. Gee whiz I cannot help it if I am a fan of movies that had happy endings.

I would like to see it, but I would sure never pay theater prices to do so, but that's with any movie.

Its a little hard to swallow sometimes. Today we went to a theatre that has these plushy recliner seats and they had waiters serving us food and drinks during the movie, which was a first for me. It actually wasnt that bad. I think it was about $10 a ticket which is very pricy

The sequel to Alice In Wonderland did not do very well in the box office since the latest X Men movie was a huge hit in the box office according to the Associated Press. I just hope the movie "The Three Lives Of Thomasina" is never remade since the late Patrick McGoohan would be rolling in his grave if it were remade.

I heard that too, It was a complete flop. I am not sure if that was because of Depps personal life or if it was based on the movie

@Castlerock34 According to my relatives they think it was because Tim Burton did not direct the second movie and maybe his off the stage personal problems caught up to him.
