Dustin Morse reported the news from Oakland California the Minnesota Twins have placed their outfielder Danny Santana on the 15 day disabled with an injury to his left hamstring. Santana was injured running the base paths during the Twins game versus the Oakland Athletics on Monday afternoon. Santana will be replaced on the Twins 25 man roster by outfielder Byron Buxton who is currently playing baseball for the Rochester Red Wings which is the AAA minor league team of the Twins. Santana had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on April 9, 2016 with a strain of his right hamstring before he returned to the Twins roster on April 25, 2016. It is not clear how long will Santana be out of the starting lineup of the Twins after his latest hamstring injury that happened on Monday afternoon in Oakland.

Buxton has been up to the bigs before. Shouldn't affect the team much.
