Toilets in a Posh Place

On my recent trip to Melbourne my friend and I decided to go to one of the upmarket arcades a place we probably wouldn't have bothered with at home. First we looked around at all the expensive clothing stores and tried to pretend we weren't shocked and dismayed at the exorbitant prices. Finally, we went to a cafe known for their delicious chocolates and coffee. After drinking a few coffees and eating chocolate we decided we needed the bathroom. First we had to search high and low and finally when we did find it there was a message on the door, 'please go to the Manager of the Store you were in, show your receipt and you will be given the password to enter'. True story. So back we went armed with evidence that we were legit and had permission to go inside these premises. I have to admit they were very fancy and reminded me of Harrods in London. On the way out of the Arcade we met a homeless person and as it seemed a shame to waste a good opportunity we gave her the password just in case she ever needed it.

@LadyDuck We were amazed at how many homeless people we saw. I think I would like to do something to help them in my own State

@glenniah We now have so many people coming from the war zones of Syria, this is so sad, but also a serious problem.

@Genipher That's funny. Perhaps I could go into business and make lots of money out of my fancy 'thrones'.
