I am reading a novel called 'Embraced by the Light' and it is a book about a Native American who has had two near death experiences and what she learned about herself. This is a spiritual type book that I am finding a lot in common with the main character. I have had dreams of my dad quite a few times since he has died and I still feel his presence near me and my mom. I have had a few dreams with him one is we are both in a big, gleaming white hall with a bright red carpet down the center and everyone is smiling and happy. One of my other relatives who has gone before actually told me "What are you doing here it is not your time?" Another dream was at a picnic pavilion of all my relatives that I did not know but there were a few I know from when I was a little kid. They all smiled. I remember another dream that me and my dad were driving down the highway in all the seasons at once and we pulled over to an old barn with all these old cars and I think some of them were his or somebody's for they seemed familiar especially a blue one. I have had feelings that I am being watched over since the day my brother died when I turned 13 and even more so since my dad died a few years ago. So this discussion the question is do you believe in near death experiences and that we do go to heaven or something like that?

I had dreams similar to yours. I remember I had a dream where I saw many of my relatives who had already gone. They were around a table, a sort of banquet, and my Mom was walking toward them, I was following. One of my aunts said, how nice, she is coming and then looked at me and was happy that I was also coming. I called my Mom and said, NO please come, it's not our moment. I asked my brother, who is a doctor, to visit my Mom and he discovered she had a cancer. They were able to save her life, because I SAW.
