Zack Meisel who is a reporter for Cleveland.com on Wednesday reported the news that the Cleveland Indians have called up from their AAA minor league team the Columbus Clippers left handed relief pitcher Tom Gorzelanny and outfielder Tyler Naquin to join their team. The Indians demoted right handed relief pitcher Shawn Armstrong to their AAA minor league team in Columbus on Wednesday after Armstrong pitched one game in relief giving one earned run on Tuesday during a baseball game versus the Texas Rangers. Tyler Naquin will replace outfielder Marlon Byrd on the Indians 25 man roster after Byrd was suspended by officials of Major League Baseball for 162 games for his second failed PED drug test on Wednesday. Gorzelanny had signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians on December 21, 2015 after his one year contract with the Detroit Tigers expired at the end of the baseball season. Gorzelanny, 33, will be working as a relief pitcher for the Indians as they are hosting the Texas Rangers in the final game of a game three series that is played at Progressive Field in Cleveland Ohio.

Gorzelanny is a seasoned pro and I suspect his minor league stint was about getting into shape.
