I have a FB page where I share what the new little bits and pieces that I add to my family tree. Sometimes it is a new ancestor but this morning, I suggested that people add something about there children or grandchildren as that was what I had just finished doing. We tend to have very short memories and we are going to want to have these cute little stories to share with future generations. My story this morning was how our 4 year old granddaughter had warmed up to her grandfather this past weekend. She had always been rather quiet around him, but this weekend, she teased him unmercifully! It was so sweet to see the two of them bonding and I wanted to write it all down!

I really admire your concept of collecting memories. You are very true in your words that as we grow old, these memories means a lot more to us and we wish to re-live those memories all over again. Such things can help us recollect all those moments.

That is nice that you put up bits and pieces so other members of your family can see what you have written.
