Why Is No One Interacting?

It has come to my attention that there are some members here who post daily but 98% of their discussions do not have any answers.
Now l dont know if they interact with other people`s discussions or not, but l dont understand how this can happen, that the same members never get any interactions to their posts.
These are not new members, with 800+discussions,3000+discussions or another with over 10,000 discussions.And no answers and if there is an answer, not more than 5.
What might be wrong? what do you think? why do they not get any interactions?l mean not even from new members

Maybe their discussions are boring.I guess I don't worry about things like that.

Im sure in 12,000 discussions there must be something interesting or worth commenting.

I have noticed that some members get very few responses. I think it might happen if the topics are too 'narrow' and few people are able to relate to things they write about. I also think that it might happen if you have few active followers. Some people have written many posts, but if they signed up a long time ago their old friends might not be here anymore. Their own activity also matters. If you post many new discussions without reponding to the discussions that other people have created other people might stop responding to your discussions.

@miniam I stop responding if someone keeps starting new discussions without interacting. I once saw someone who had started 200 discussions and responded to 2 discussions. You don't really get to know the other members if you only start new discussions and don't read what other people write.

I find such people selfish and not wanting to know about other people here,they are like having a one sided discussion.

Unless it's a person who can't write coherent English, how bad can so many discussions, in the numbers that you mention, be. But, as I pointed out to a fellow MyLotter recently in a response to a post on the subject, there seems to be, here as in many other sites, a clique( I call it Da Cluuuuub) who will scroll right by anyone who doesn't meet their criteria of 'sophi-i-i-i-istication'.

Perhaps it's difficult to understand the discussion or they possibility don't like the person. I wonder too why my other discussions got no interactions. Maybe it's utterly causing eye strain to read it. People have their own reasons I can only assume.

Well, I try to interact with discussions that has lesser comments. I'd like to help them earn. Maybe they are not interacting with anyone. They just want others to just comment on their discussion.

Maybe he does not interact with other members; assuming the his posts are boring, if he is reading/responding to post of other members, he can get back even a few responses.
