Singer Prince is now reported to have died of an overdose of opioid drugs, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper. Prince was found dead in an elevator at his home on April 21st after multiple reports of bouts with the flu recently. Prince's siblings have claimed he became addicted to prescription pain relievers years ago. Some reports say it was due to years of stage performances which damaged his hips, others say it may have been an emotional addiction. Law enforcement did find prescribed opioids at Prince's home

And cases like this with all the publicity are the reason the US is beginning to restrict the use of opioids. I know not the only reason. I wish there were better ways for people to deal with their emotional and physical pains.
