Our city is being Google-mapped

The other day, while I was on my way back home from the seminary, I met two SUVs which were turning into an alley from the highway. The lead car had this globe-like contraption on its rooftop which looked like those blinking lights in disco bars. I believe this is a team from Google Earth coming into the city to map out its street view. I've seem the same car some time ago and it would be great if we will already have a street view of our city on Google Earth map. The street views of New Zealand is so clear that I can see the house where my daughters live. I simply type their exact address and search them on Google map. The view, including the street view, is so clear it even includes cars on the road. Does your place already have a street view on Google map?

No street view yet unlike in California where my sister is. I can also see their house not just the roof tops.

@sunrisefan I think I still need to wait for a decade before that happens. Our place is too far from civilization. Lol

@brokenbee Oh is that so? Who knows what technology can do. You've seen drones and they may use that.

Hope you place will also have a street view sooner or later. No problem with them in the U.S. because they're already on street view.

Yes but ours isn't as updated as it could be. It shows a vehicle we haven't had in years.
