Doggy Got the Cast Off Last Night

We took our dog, who had ACL surgery last week, to the vet last night to have her cast and stitches removed last night. My mom was very worried she would have a hard time walking on her leg once the cast was off, even though she'd been walking with the cast on. On the other hand, I said she'd be just fine and be going on all fours in no time. I was right- within a minute of getting the cast off she was walking with just a slight limp. We went to the pet store to get dog food after our trip to the vet and she walked through the whole store! The tricky part is going to be that she's not supposed to really run or jump for a couple weeks yet. Now that the cast is off, she wants to go full speed at everything!
