The once heavyweight champion of the world died at the age of 74 He's had Parkinson Disease since 1980 and died of respiratory complications related to the disease. You might know Muhammad Ali as Cassius Clay, which was his given name. May he R.I.P. now...
Mr. Ali, who shocked the world with his boxing skills, gave up his title to protest the Vietnam War and became an international symbol of brotherhood.

Like Michael J. Fox, I think he garnered a lot of positive awareness about Parkinson's Disease.

We couldn't get any local news here in Louisville, KY yesterday because it was all about Ali.
