Extravagant or Prepared?

September will be upon us quicker than we think. Working Ocean Spray will be without Dave backing me up. To be on the safe side, I've been scouring the FB Groups for a cheap reliable second vehicle. That way if the truck breaks down I still have a backup and vice versa. My neighbor checked this one out with me. The kid selling it wanted $700. We settled on $550. It's a '98 Nissan. The excise tax was $258 since the book value is over $1000. sigh Today I drove it for the first time. Took a ride three towns over to pick up a set of bathroom light fixtures new in their boxes for $5 for both. Love the car.

Ocean Spray is the cranberry growers co-op. During the ten week cranberry harvest season I work in fruit receiving quality control.

OMG! That is so cheap! I wished we had cheap cars here. I need one my car has 311,000 miles I pray each time I get in.

This looks like a comfortable car. We just sold our old 1999 Ford Fiesta for a new car and we only got $200.
