Are women more considerate than men?

In India Juvenile Justice Boards are created for juvenile offenders. The board consists of a judge and 2 members. But there is necessarily one woman member. the object is the juvenile should not be at a trauma to face the proceeding. The woman member softens up the proceeding. In kindergarten schools in India more lady teachers are appointed than sirs. So that brings the question are women more compassionate and considerate than men? At least the quasi judicial forum in India tells that.

Yes even I have observed that quasi judicial forums require at least one woman member Like in Consumer forums as well. But I used to think that it's because they want to uplift or promote woman in general. You gave me a fresh perspective.

Thanks Sushmitaji, I dont think the woman member is kept thinking about more representation. women are equally brilliant in all spheres like men. They can compete and adorn the judicial forum. We have fantastic women judges in India. But the quasi judicial forum wants a forum where the humanity, compassion can balance the harsh impact created if the accused is proved guilty. Not in courts of law but juvenile justice board, at least.
