I woke up
Sad and gloomy
One cold grey morning.
I was minding
My own business
Then you came without warning.
You looked at me
Stopped in your tracks
Then began to touch me.
You looked through me
You stared too long
You looked beyond; not only see.
In a singsong voice
You flattered me
with your words oh so sweet.
The honeyed smile
You offered
Purely sinful treat.
I began to cherish
Your presence
I started to flirt.
But in the end
You pulled me
From my world which is the earth.
(The woes of a lovely rose to a passerby. )

@sol_cee - Of course, bunch of roses. I love roses and on special occasions like birthday or anniversary, I prefer to present her a bouquet of roses.
