Well I Did It This Time!

I was making dinner and dessert for my husband, enough for him to eat on over the weekend as I'll be gone to visit my family for the weekend. Anyways, I made a huge pot of chili con carne and an upside down pineapple cake. Well I thought the cake was ready to go in the oven and about 6 minutes after I put it in I saw the cans of crushed pineapple (I use crushed pineapple thats the way my husband likes it) and thought O NO I forgot the pineapple. So, after throwing a fit I pulled it out of the oven and put the pineapple on top of the cake mix and put it back to let it finish cooking. Well lo and behold my husband likes it better than the way I usually make it. So praise the Lord it all worked out.

My husband said its really good. I am trying to leave it alone as I have 25lbs yet to lose. Lord help me to stay out of it I pray in Jesus name. He's helped me get 70lbs off and I am counting on Him to help me to get the rest off, however I have to do my part!

@Butchcass4 thank you very much, I'm curious cause there are lots of ways and variations how to make chili con, others had been handed down family recipes, it's one of my favorite but it's not that popular here in the Philippines so it's so hard to find, my canned supply still comes from the States cause it's mostly unavailable in supermarkets.

It all worked out. That's how things go sometimes. When we think something didn't turn out right or has failed. It all works out. Thank God for the cake coming together. Be blessed.

@Teep11 Yes God took my mistake and turned it into a blessing. He's so good at doing things like that. I got upset with myself for nothing. Learn the hard way huh! LOL

@lshani08 That was not the actual cake I made I just wanted a picture for my discussion. I use crushed pineapple so it looks different than the actual picture but my camera isn't working so I go to bing.com and just looked up an upsidedown pineapple cake.
