I attended a training on disaster preparedness in our barangay this morning, a continuation of our training before the election. It took 3 hours for the illustration and explaining about the matter, an hour for the training of fire fighting, how to handle in case there is an earthquake, lightning, typhoon and others. We were given many manuals to read.
Attending the training gives us fun especially how to use the fire extinguisher, how to handle a first aid and basic life support.
After the training, we are given 2 pack lunch each with mineral water, juices, our snacks and we are dismissed. We are not expecting that we have a free lunch.
Have you gone to a training like this?

it is good your packed lunch is complete with water. we had some packed lunch and no water was served, so it was hard to swallow the foods given to us

@ridingbet yes, we have to chew the foods in a proper manner and when eating, be sure not to make our mouth full

@ida123 we buy soda drinks when packed lunch is served. and we can always get away with choking, but not filling up the spoon with food, or chewing our food well. still, although not nurses, we must learn how to do the Heimlich's maneuver so choking is resolved.

It is good they conduct such training on disaster preparedness because our country is prone to such incidents like floods, storms, etc.

@Chungshop I'm not lazy in cooking and preparing foods but I haven't prepared foods because the foods in the pack lunch is enough for us.
