Suddendeath poetry Challenge: Breakfast!

Welcome to this weekend’s Suddendeath poetry challenge, Breakfast! Anyways, rules are as follows, write a poem in any style using the five words that I give you. Write it in one sitting or in under an hour (only to quash your inner editor, rules are loose there). Add it here, OR link in a comment so we can enjoy each other’s poems. The words can be in any plurality or tense. Today’s words are meal, breakfast, fast, eggs, bacon.

Woe to they who do not break their fast,
When their breakfast they do forget.
Will they to lunch’s meal be able to last,
Or will they run and buy a baguette,
With eggs and bacon, or rashers and hash.
Maybe later they will just run and something get…
since there aren't even power bars in their stash!

Calls you to the breakfast table
if you are able
don't eat too fast
take the time to enjoy your meal
and have some eggs as well

Breakfast is the meal I like most
Bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast
A yummy meal that must last
Is not one that's done real fast

Hohoho. Yummy.
Russian breakfast includes porridge.
We get it from small home storage.
British brunch is eggs and bacon.
They eat it when they awaken.
Croissant is fast French breakfast,
Omelette is morn food in Belfast.
