I read another article after I read the article about Astronaut Scott Kelly's near year in Space and what his body went through. This article was So Interesting.
Here are the odd things that happen to a human's body after an extended time in the weightlessness of Space :
1) Loss of nearly 12 percent of bone density due to lack of exercise.
2) Muscles shrink due to not being needed and used.
3) Sleep deprivation , because in Space days aren't normal, may get 6 hours tops.
4) Because gravity isn't holding a person down, the Spine stretches adding 3 inches to a person's height.
5) Vision can worsen because of pressure changes in the brain.
6) A person's face gets more puffy due to body liquids spreading out more evenly.
7) A person's fluids shift from the legs to the head. The amount of fluid that does this could fill a two liter bottle.

I agree, when I was a kid and liked watching Science Fiction, I would think how neat it would be to do Space Travel. Now, after reading what can happen, I have no desire.
