Leadership

I recently came across some stuff online trying about trying to teach people to be better leaders. well what i think is that the only way someone can be good leader is when it comes from within them. To be a good leader you need to treat people the way you would want to be treated and that's the only way people who are following you will have faith in you. What do you think?

I agree that the traits of a good leader come from within one's self, but it takes the right sort of examples and training to turn someone with leadership potential into a competent leader. The Scouts (Boy and Girl), school sports, and others, including the summer camp my sons went to, have excellent programs for developing leadership skills in young people who have the desire and ability to become good leaders.
