Now you may or may not have seen my two previous posts about my best friend (Liz) whom had been murdered and her body was dumped in a waterway in Louisiana called Whiskey Bay. I also posted about them arresting and beginning the extradition process for her husband (Jonathan) on charges of 2nd degree murder. Well some updates on that, he was extradited back to Lousiana to face charges on June 3, 2016. This came as a big win to all of us that were friends and the family of Liz. I can't forget to mention though, his extradition hearing was on her birthday (May 31) and we had her funeral 3 days prior to that (May 28) which was very bittersweet. We had been flooding for 3 days prior to her funeral but on that day it was bright, sunny, and beautiful; just like her. Anyways, I look today, and he had an initial trial in Louisiana and a bail was set for $750K. I honestly think he shouldn't have been awarded a bond but more than likely he can't afford it so he won't be getting out either way. Is it bad for me to want the prisoners in Louisiana to rough him up a bit? Anyway, he's going to face the charge of 2nd degree murder and I believe they should have tacked on the charge of Improper Disposal of a Body, but that may not even make a difference. So now its on to getting Liz' two little sweethearts away from his grandmother and with Liz' family that will never let them forget their mommy.

Im sorry to hear this, there are horrible people out there and we are sometimes in the dark as to what they are capable of till it`s too late. Hope they lock him up for a long time where he can not harm anyone else.
