It's been a great day so far. I was up earlier than planned because I needed to get the deposit paid for the apartment. I'll know in three days about it. I'm feeling real good about this one. Excited even, not like I was for the other one.
Then after leaving the apartment I went grocery shopping and met a friend I haven't seen in over a year and talked with her for about an hour catching up. She's doing great, I gave her all my great news regarding this move and how it all came about. She's having knee replacement on July 6. Her name is Peggy, so those prayer warriors out there, keep her in prayer for a successful operation. This will be her second. The first went well.
Now I'm here for a short bit as I'm going to go see a movie today. I have an urge to go and I know it's not Tuesday when it's $5 all day, but that's okay. I invited a friend, but she's already seen it, and told me to take tissues with me as it's that good. I'm going to see Me Before You. I know it's going to be a tear jerker.
So that's where I'm off too in about an hour. Until then I'll get some notifications and interaction done.
What are your plans today? I hope your weather is as beautiful as it is here. We had some early morning rain, which turned into beautiful sunshine, a bit humid, but that's what happens when summer is on us.

I actually got to sleep in a bit more than normal today because it was raining here too. Then about an hour after I got up it quit, so we went and did two little window jobs. I bought more window equipment from Lowes, and went home for a small nap. I feel much better again.
I plan on seeing my mom after supper which is on the stove cooking right now. And, maybe after that I'll help my sister at the old apart my mom lived at to go through some clothes and things so we can get totally out of there and maybe get a little rebate if we get totally moved before the month is over. All the big things are gone, now it's a matter of going through her clothes and figuring out what is needed or not. She wasn't wearing half the things we kept for her from her house even though we've had to downsize with each move.

It was, and I'm still feeling upbeat even if it did start raining along with thunder and lightning as I left the theater. I almost thought I would be the only one for the showing, then a whole group of women came in together. So it was nice I wasn't alone for the movie, which was very good.

@DianneN At least not rain, but lightning can. However, nothing like that here, not that time at least, not like the other time when the sky was red and the sirens were going with each lightning strike. At least it seemed like it. This was our sky. The date stamp is on the picture.

if I manage to lose enough weight to be down another 20 pounds I will treat myself to a movie, hopefully I manage that soon!

That's totally awesome. I need to step on the scale again. It was up the last time I stepped on it, but the jeans I'm wearing I realized the last time I wore them they were snug. Now I'm having to pull them up as they're getting loose.

Awe, that's really cool that you were able to catch up with an old friend. Did you exchange contact info? And I wish her the best with her surgery!
I hope you enjoyed the movie. :)
The weather was fine here. We didn't watch the baby because he has an ear infection (he'll be okay, but poor baby); so I ran errands and did a little writing. Take care. :)

Yes we did, and if I get the place I'm hoping for, we'll be living on the same street. I totally loved the movie - Me Before You. I'm sorry he has an ear infection. I had those as a kid so I know how miserable he must feel. I hope it clears up fast.
