3 years ago, I think that was also around when mylot had some problems. A friend of mine introduced the world of Virtual Assistance to me. I didn't realize that people have been earning from the internet!
All i know back then was earning from mylot and that's it. When my friend shared it with me I was amazed at how amazing it all was! My first client was from the US and she was soooo kind and I learned a lot from her. I learned the ropes of working remotely and from there my virtual assistance career kicked off.
I worked for her for about a year and then had a new client (who is my client till now) and she's quite amazing.. I have been working online now full time!! :)
I can pay for all our bills, cover groceries, pay for tuition fees, and even SAVE!!! But yes I am also still employed offline (company in the PH) but I will be resigning and ends on July 30. So I am looking forward now to a new phase of my life!!!

I started with Odesk for my first client after that I juggled quite several clients at a time all through Odesk! It was fun but later on I looked for a full time one who agreed we could take the payments out side of Odesk (upwork now) it saved us the fees ;) Odesk is charging now 20% of the earnings!! arrghh
I work as a general VA, mostly doing admin tasks but for this current client I am her social media manager handles her IG, Facebook, Twitter and also does graphic designs for her and blog management..so our fee now is fixed rate too :)

wow so that's what you've been doing these past three years, too bad it doesn't last long. I'm back on this website and other trying to earn bucks or two.

Hi!! My current client right now is stable..so hopefully this will keep on going! Perhaps you want try become a VA? the pay is quite good lol much more than what I earn in my office work!

@Letranknight2015 Nope. There's actually quite a lot you can offer. I specialize in Social media management, I handle my client's Social media pages ;) quite fun actually as I pretend to be her when answering and when posting hehe! So I also had to learn about her business.
But when I started, I was a general VA, mostly research jobs.. client would give me list of companies and I would search for their contact info and place it in spreadsheets. I also do graphic editing and video editing too. :) I try to grow my skills as much as possible.
