Flamenco Dancing - painting of a flamenco dancer and a seated guitarist.
I love flamenco....used to enjoy it often in Barcelona when I lived there. Also enjoyed it in Granada and Valencia when I visited there. I find the flamenco music very closely resembles the Portuguese Fado (please do not take offense) because they both are very close to the Moorish music probably due to the Moorish Occupation of both Spain and Portugal. I remember about 50 years ago there was a very famous flameco dancer who used to perform all over the world but I cannot remember her name it's been so long ago. I also like rumba-flamenco that was popular back in the 1960's....One of the better known at that time was a Lola something....Wish I knew her name so that I could find some of her songs to download and bring back memories. Perdona-me de no escrever em Español pero no tengo hecho a muchos años. Vaya con Diós.
