Katie Strang reports the news from Kansas City Missouri on Sunday the Detroit Tigers have promoted from their AAA minor league team the Toledo Mud Hens right handed relief pitcher Bruce Rondon. Rondon had been sent home by the Tigers in September 2015 for his pouting of not getting enough relief appearances during the regulars season. Rondon had a pitching record of two wins and two losses with an earned run average of 3.74 pitching in relief for the Toledo Mud Hens during the 2016 baseball season. Since Francisco Rodriguez is the current closer of the Detroit Tigers this year, Rondon will settle for relief work this baseball season. The Kansas City Royals defeated the Detroit Tigers on Sunday at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City in 13 innings on Sunday afternoon.
