Imagining What Heaven Would Be Like

Have you ever thought about heaven and what it would look like? I imagine it would be a place of peace and tranquility and place where the ground would be of white sand.
Heaven would have a lovely fragrant smell that one has never smelt before, and there would be endless rivers of wine, honey and milk. I can imagine there would be many huge beautiful trees with trunks made of gold and branches of leaves which hold delicious fruit.
I believe there will be countless palaces and mansions in which we can all abide in happily ever after :D
What do you think would be like?

Well heaven for me wil be a place full of mountains and surrounded by oceans.

@gudheart Yes, I'm sure he is. I know if, given the option, he would have opted to stay with me. But his health would probably have been very compromised. That's the only reason I've been able to reconcile myself with his passing. But I know he's waiting for me, and if that's not heaven, then there just isn't one. (and I know there is)

heaven for me is Earth's alternate reality; purged of all its frailties and flaws. A place where everything that is impossible on Earth becomes a reality there.

I have imagined it as a gathering place where we get together with those we love and of course worship the Lord. I think of it as a very beautiful and peaceful earth.

The exact description of heaven is beyond any man's mind to describe. My only imagination of heaven is how the Bible briefly describes this place and it is found in Revelation 21 and 22. It surely is a perfect place. However what really excites me is not the physical appearance of heaven but the presence of my Savior Jesus Christ in that place whose light will shine and illumine the whole place eternally so that there will no more night in that golden city.

I love your description.
I imagine heaven to be sunny, warm (not smokey not, no humidity), pleasant, calm, peaceful. Everyone is happy, their are no worries because everything is taken care of for you. Food galore (that's my inner fat girl) and just a very loving place.
