How long can I go without sleep

I was not able to sleep at all last night. I tried my best. I laid down on my bed but I was still awake. so by 5 a.m. in the morning I just do some work at home. So for today I am still not sleepy at all. I will just keep myself busy to be productive and hopefully later at night I will be able to sleep well. But for this morning I have lots to do again so even if I want to sleep now I just can't. And if you're wondering if I stay at home all day most of the time yes I do. This is because of my responsibilities needed me here.
