Modification in education system.

Some 40 years ago, when I was in high school and PU, scoring 70% was considered as an achievement. We used to understand almost every fundamentals. But now, I have seen students weeping, after getting 95% because they were expecting to get 98%.If this continues, a student getting 99% will also be weeping. This is the result of blind competition. No student is interested in understanding the subject. There is no correlation between job and education. As an example, engineering graduates In India are 10 times more than the number of engineers required. As a result, almost 90% of them are not getting good jobs. This makes some 25% of them to go for post graduation, hoping to get job. But again, the scope is same. This will lead them to continuously read and study and finally become a lecturer. Most of the students are getting very less salary. Some are doing more than 12 hours of work. Some serious thought is required in this direction to change the education system.

@jayaramas don't think too much of the ending... they are just starting to build their life. What matter at the present is nurture, build, make them of what they are tomorrow.

There is stiff competition for jobs. Hope it can be solved.

I agree with you, in our days you can get a better job, even paid better, without the need to have higher education.
