How concerned are any of you about the United State being attacked by terrorists? I know that there have been horrific events lately in US cities, but I am thinking something huge, like life-changing or life as we know it) will happen. We won't be the same whether it be no power for weeks or months, or a financial collapse. Interested in hearing different opinions.

A emp attack is a very real possibility either from another nation, or from the sun. will it happen ? time will tell. As for a financial collapse..This is also a very real possibility. when will it happen. time will tell. If you believe in the Bible, God tells us that their will be a one world currency that means their has to be some kind of collapse for this to be put into place. The United states is 19 trillion in debt right now and it is growing larger everyday how long will this stay sustainable, The bible also talks about a one world Government. Something very horrific has to happen for this to be put in place. what will it be, only time will tell. The bible also talks about a major war that 1 third of all the people on earth will die.. will this be a life changing occurrence for everybody. We have only seen a small sample of what the islamac terrorists are capable of. I believe we will see much more of it as time goes on, and the attacks will be larger. Life for the people involved in the many attacks have been life changing for many all ready. just look at 9-11, that was a life changing event for everyone in the US. Just look at what we have to go through at the airports, we gave up some of our Freedom and that is not good, because they are trying to take more and more of it away every day in the name of security. That is just a way of controlling us, not protecting us. But people are letting it happen.

If we are attacked, it would surprise me if people were surprised. If you didn't wake up when the federal building in Oklahoma blew up, then when the airplanes flew into the World Trade Center on 9/11, that should have proved that the United States of America, as a nation, is not untouchable. In fact, we are very vulnerable. All of the mass shootings that have occurred prove that. I believe in the triumph of the human spirit. We can survive a financial collapse or no electricity, and rebuild or restore. But not if we die! It's not a day that goes by that I don't think about the possibility of an attack.

The catastrophic collapse you describe is unlikely. This is the sort of thing that happens in all-out war. The worst the jihadist have done is 9/11—which was nasty—but did not end the country as we know it. I spend my time worrying about that. Greater dangers included being killed or maimed in a car crash or being debilitated by cardio-vascular disease. Or, frankly, being ripped off by scam artists, including alarmists.

As I said in my earlier discussion a day will come when the terrorists will be driven from pillar to post. No God on earth can come down to rescue them.
