There are some times when by chance we watch good movies on TV. This was one of these cases.
Last night, the internet simply went down. I waited, I turned on and off my computer and nothing.
So I started to check what was happening on TV as I didn´t have Netflix either. At the Films &Arts channel a movie was beginning. It was Girl with a Pearl Earring, a very nice movie about one of the paintings of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer.
I loved it and it was the perfect movie to turn off the light immediatly afterwards and go to sleep.
Today, with internet, I read more about Johannes Vermeer and saw other paintings.

I love that film as the painting is probably my favourite.
Unfortunately I doubt I'll ever have a couple of hundred million pounds to buy it

How nice you found something of interest to watch. Last night I went to bed and turned on the TV but nothing I wanted to watch was on so I read my book Prairie Tale by Melissa Gilbert. It is really holding my interest and it tells about her life sorrow and joys both.

Yes. Colin Firth is one of those actors that play so well thir characters that you forget there´s an actor there.
