The picture is of me painting while on the mission trip. I was on the painting crew. We did more than just paint though. We painted the science room in the school as well as the furnace room. We also carried boxes of donated items to be sorted and stored for their Thrifty Shop. We pulled weeds all around the school. Ok, we really didn't pull them out of the dry, hard Arizona ground, we used shovels and hoes. We went to a families home one day and helped them clean up their yard, which also included stacking their firewood. We also weeded in one the yard of one of the homes on the mission. There were 2 other crews for our group and they were both sheet rocking crews. One crew, which my 6 foot 3 inch grandson was on, sheet rocked the ceiling in a Hogan. The other crew was helping to sheet rock a 2 room addition to a family's home. I don't have pictures from either crew, but I hope when we all gt together to share pictures that I get some of those! I think this is the last of my story posts about the trip. I have several other pictures that I chose to share, but will just share those with regular posts.

You did a great work during your mission trip. It helps to be as tall as your son to pain ceiling, I ask the help of my niece fiancee who is 6 foot 5 inches.

I was afraid you would be trying to do outdoor construction work the whole time..

It takes a lot of energy to do those things for sure but for a good cause.

That's great that you're helping others. We should all be giving and although some may not be able to give money there's others ways we could be giving. You're doing missionary work and you'll be blessed for your kindness.
