This song says a lot about me and it was introduced to me by an old friend that I just got reunited to this morning (thank goodness for twitter).
This song talks about girls being pretty but could stand strong and be on their own. To be not somebody's pretty wife who knows nothing about being successful. But to look pretty and conquer the world! Pretty and smart, not dumb!

Here is an excerpt of a song that I loved to sing (out of tune) when I was studying in college ( I was a working student) after I left the seminary . . . Here it is -

It is an inspiring and empowering song. It says a lot about women being independent individual. I love that song. I also like the song "Reflection" by Mulan since I still get confuse about myself at times.

It's a good reminder especially to young girls these days that they shouldn't just focus on being pretty and shouldn't depend on men to feed them.

Sadly, there's a misconception that when one is beautiful, she's just a man's trophy to be shown off. This song speaks strongly against that.

Yeah I like that song too! Just posted it on my FB a few days ago. Haha~ Am not one to just sit around and just make myself pretty. All that spending and no money coming in? No way. 
I used to think Don't worry, Be Happy is my life song but now it's just a song that brings me inspiration. A lot of songs these days are geared towards rave parties. You know like music from The Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha, Calvin Harris to name a few.
Anyway these days whenever I am feeling something I just search the best song on YouTube and listen to it. That is if I don't get any song pop ups for the day. I always have song pop ups almost everyday, those are songs that just come singing out from my mind randomly without any influence from the radio or someone I hear singing etc.

Sometimes I search for songs on spotify. When i'm in the car i listen to radio and when i like some songs but no idea what the title is, Siri always helps me out.

I love Daya :) At the moment the song I like to play on replay is "Best is Yet to Come" by Luvbug. This song inspires me very much and is telling me that we all make mistakes and we all undergo misfortunes but we must not be despaired because the best is yet to come.

When I was in my teens I was afraid to look pretty because I would be judged as someone with no brains. But it changed when I was already 18. I gained confidence in my looks and I showed people I was smart too.
