DOES HEARING THE TRUTH ALWAYS HURT? / myLot

Severally I've heard people say "The truth always hurts", and they usually use the "truth hurts" cliche' mostly when refering to a bitter truth. but does truth always HURT? Some truths don't hurt. And sometimes lies do hurt too. Or do most people who often use this cluche' say it without really thinking about what they are saying? Or they say it cos it's a general cliche' that Most people use? DOES THE TRUTH ALWAYS HURT?

You have a point. Lies do hurt , in fact thinking it over, i'd say lies do hurt everytime. For the 'truth' its a bitter truth because the person you are saying it to doesn't want to accept the reality

But does that cliche' apply to all truths? Some truths don't hurt, have u thought about it? Sure there are bitter truths which many may not want to hear sometimes, and there are also sweet truths which don't hurt.

@Fordalong The truth you are faithfully following does not hurt you. But sinful truth are the one that hurt. That means you are guilty of doing something that is against the law.

We need not to think it literally that truth always hurt,why? It's because there are instances that truth could really made us feel happy, considering that to accept the reality would lead to us to an atmosphere of being free. On other hand, it's already on the mind set of the majority revailing a truth could really hurts.
