Slightly Nauseous and Dizzy

That describes hubby and I both, earlier today. So, we stayed home. He is doing much better now and is running some errands out of town. I just want another nap. It seems that there is weather in the state. The sky looks heavy even though the sun is shining. That sometimes makes me queasy. I think hubby and I felt ill due to over eating at breakfast. On top of that, they are working on the field across the street again today and there are diesel fumes from the trucks and tractors. I have my windows open in the living room. I can smell them. We took a nap instead of going to church. Our bedroom is closed off, and I run the air conditioner. That helped a lot, no smoke or fumes. I just ate a salad for lunch and he ate nothing. When I have finished most of my online work I plan to go back to the bedroom and take my laptop. I am sorting through my clothes today. So today's plans have changed. They usually do. I hope it rains. It is cooler today than it has been.

I learned a lesson last night, seconds need to wait at least 15 min, to give my brain time to know if I am full or not.

I try to make my largest meal breakfast. Hubby seldom eats breakfast as his body just disposes of it really quickly. Sorry if it is TMI. I know in my head that if I grow accustomed to smaller meals I will be better off, it is hard to do at times.

@GardenGerty I have started using smaller plates, drinking more liquids first and waiting longer before I get seconds

It is not raining hard here in Florence, but McPherson had a downpour I hear. We went out and put a tarp on the new little trailer to protect it in case it leaks. You know, cucumbers really seem to settle the stomach.

I am doing well now. I will take a nice cool shower and go to bed early. Tomorrow I will go in to town with hubby. I have a doctor's appointment and some errands for my sister. Bob and I will go from there to do some out of town shopping and pick up some car parts.

It is the food I bet. I feel the same. I had some extra pulao made with basmati rice and that forms gasses in the stomach.

You are right I am sure. In this weather my breakfast should be only fruit and yogurt.

This is weird, I have read no more than 5 minutes ago from another user with the same symptoms, but she lives in the UK, not in the United States, so it's not a local bug.

Diesel or petrol fumes are always enough to make me feel ill.

I did not understand that when my mom would complain of that when I was young. It did not bother me then, but we do grow older.

I dont think you can overfeed in breakfast enough to feel nauseous, maybe there is a bug going around.

I had that same feeling a couple of days this week and so did hubs, I think it is the heat and humidity. Weird though.
