It's back and I'm feeling guilty.

Reception at work just called to tell me that my car was back from the valeting service and as I was walking down to pick up the keys, I remembered that I hadn't actually told the guy where the car was parked. So my assumption is that he probably walked up and down (we have three car parks - I hope he picked the right one), clicking the button until the lights flashed. I feel pretty guilty about that now - but maybe when I go out to try to find it later, I'll be empathising with what the valet man had to go through. Luckily I'm usually one of the last to leave so there's a good chance I won't have to hunt so hard.

This reminded me of my nan. There is a Shopping center here in Ireland and its in a U shape she went in one door and out the other and then spent ages wondering where her car had went. haha

I lost my car on a hidden floor of Manchester airport's short stay car park. You can access it from the elevator but not from the escalator. I spent a long time looking and had to go back into the terminal to speak to some people about how I could report a stolen car. Very embarassing

@boiboing Oh dear yeah I would imagine so. Thankfully it was not stolen though. Some multistory car parks can be really confusing. Every time me and my partner go to the shopping center we try to park in the same place lol.

Haha please don't tell me you have suddenly gone blonde?

Am I not the least blonde person you know? I figure 4.5 years worth of crumbs removed for £22 is a bargain.

I don't get it. why are they not the one who parks the car? they should have something tells them where it is.

They collect from our factory, take the car away and bring it back when it's done. So he got the keys from the receptionist.

I am glad that he did find it after his search.

I haven't seen the car yet. Maybe he didn't find it and just pocketed my £22.

But, don't feel so guilty. He didn't ask did he?

True. And if he's left a stinky cardboard tree on my rear view mirror, I won't feel guilty at all.

How often have you seen people wandering the car park pressing the remote for their car and listening for a responding beep...? I find it quite funny - like Wall-E does in the clip below when he finds a car key in a pile of junk he us clearing up...
This is a Wall-E clip, its not mine I don't own it. I have the movie on DVD at last and I just love Wall-E and Eve or Eva! It truly is the best movie of 2008...

Haha - this would be easy to do. Maybe the guy has parked it in an obscure place like on the street just to pay you back.
