Volcano - erupts and blast.

Is it true that recently A volcano in Sumatra, Indonesia has erupted and blasted. Lot of lava and gas came out and people near by has been transferred to other places. Have anyone seen like this before in real and not in news or Television. I didn't got a chance.

Our news won't start until about 4PM but have not heard anything about a volcano erupting.
