I might soon get baby birds.

I saw this black bird which is known here as Dhobi Bird - I do not why - cozily sitting on the nest that she and her husband have been struggling to build since the last few days.
She is occupying the top of our light that is hanging at the entrance to our main door. She seemed comfortable when I was clicking and did not fly away.
The photo is not quite what I expected.

It is rarely that we put that light on and I only hope we see the end of their turmoil and lovely babes will be born to them.

Glad that the bird's nest is just on the top of the light and may not be wet when there is rain but our birds nest here were on top of the palm trees, when there is heavy rain, I think the eggs or even the birds laying the eggs might be wet.

Somehow birds can withstand heavy rain and so relax.

I would have wanted to see a better background - the wall has marble chips and that did not show.

Thats nice! Whenever I find nest by my windows I leave them alone and eventually they hatch and leave the nest on their own

I have to be patient because once they had laid eggs in our letter box - rather an improvised one and they did not reach the term, sadly.
