There is a light at the end of this tunnel

There has to be a light at the end of this tunnel, or I'll lose my mind. I have a job interview tomorrow, hoping it goes well. Actually I had two interviews scheduled for tomorrow, but my husband and daughter convinced me I need to cancel one of them. They both felt it would be to strenuous on me, it was working at a hotel in housekeeping. I think it's harder getting a job when you're older, cause in my younger years, I never had any trouble getting a job. What do you think, is it harder getting a job when your young or old?

It's a reality that opportunities for older people are less compared to young ones. Almost all companies hire employees with ages 23 - 35. Lucky are those who got work at the age of 36 - 45.

It's probably harder getting a job these days. I hope you have a blessed interview. Think positively and the good will come.

I think it is harder getting a job when you are older but I also think the job market is much more difficult to get into than it used to be.

To some degree, it deed seems harder to getting a job when you old. But be positive, you also can have a job easy in this internet world. Every one at any age can have a try. If no one hire, you can hire yourself.

I started being an entrepreneur at a very young age. So employment has never really been a concern of mine. But observing how companies would hire employees, they usually hire people within the age of 25-35.

Yes, the closer I get to 60, the harder it gets.

i truly hope that'cher successful with this interview, hon. know such'd be a huge burden lifted'n yer family. i agree, housekeepin' mightn't not be the job fer ya, but there's times we jest cannot afford to be choosy. i aint hunted fer a job'n sometime, but know that the more "well-seasoned" we get, such's a more dauntin' task. best'f luck!

With my fibro and arthritis, housekeeping would have been difficult. The interview went good, but I think it was kindof a waste of both our times, because they have someone transfering here, so the position is no longer open, why they didn't just call and cancel, I don't know.
