It is very hard to teach a person who does not want to learn

Learning starts from cradle and ends in grave.Learning is compulsory in life. He who adds not to his learning diminishes it. In my opinion man has been sent on earth to learn.A good man is always a good learner and a learner will be learned. All want to be learned but nobody is willing to pay for it.Learning wants the sacrfice . The main thing is without doing ourselves ,we can not learn anything. George Herbert says- In doing we learn. Francis Bacon writes- There is no great concurrence between learning and wisdom. If a man who is unwilling can not be taught easily. You must have felt that some children learn the things easily and with interest. But some do not learn even after making full efforts. I think that learning is the gift of God.In a class the teacher teaches equally all the students of the class but some of them pass in first division , some third and some fail. The reason is that they do not pay full attention to the studies because they do not take interest. Epicterius writes-- It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.

@sunilmishra7756 ... Everybody has potential to become great by doing the best with what is served to him or her. Then again, a person seems great but may not in fact be that great. Who are we to judge...lol. But then who are we to judge them as great either.

I am very much fond of learning something from others ,it may be a great man, great book or even from insensate things. The height of a mountain teaches to rise to be excellent. The river teaches never look behind. The ocean teaches to be deep. All the things may be your teacher if you want to be a learner. The wise learn from fools but fools never learn anything from wise. This is the only difference between the two. Thanks a lot.

Yes you're so right. There's a saying that goes like this: "You can bring a horse to the water but you can't make him drink it."

Lucretius writes-- The fall of dropping water wears away even the stone. Julia Carney writes- Little drops of water make the mighty ocean. We should sustain hope because hope sustains man. Thanks a lot.
