Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Jersey Shore

Actually it is for the whole state of New Jersey and it is until 10 pm. The National Weather Service has already said those lovely words "strong winds" and "damaging hail".
We've gotten lucky so far this year and have avoided most thunderstorms, but I don't think we're going to get out of this one. They are all over the place--west in PA, south in Maryland and Delaware and even further than that.They are coming from everywhere.
I guess it is time to put the Thundershirt on my old man cat.

We've had a few thunderstorms here so far this year.
The weather is very weird today, one minute it's bright sunshine the next it's bucketing down with rain.
At wimbledon earlier it was match point for venus williams and then it started pouring with rain and play was delayed

I'd heard about the weather nearly flooding the streets there only to turn sunny an hour later.

@ScribbledAdNauseum it flooded here in worcester but really badly where I used to live in cheltenham.
They were flash floods and the rain was the heaviest I've ever seen in my life.

We had some storms come through here last night. It thundered loudly several times. No hail but there was winds and heavy driving force rain. I hope your storm front moves fast.
