In winter we don´t check if there are enough garments for the washing machine but we look at the sky, take out an arm to feel the wind and only then we decide whether it is (or isn´t) washing day.
Yesterday it was too cold and there was no sun. We told ourselves that we really didn´t need those clothes to be clean so soon.
But today there was a chilly sun and we thought that maybe the wind would dry the sheets. So the whites went to the machine.
The sheet did dry, but not my favorite and second favorite dressing gowns. The one I´m wearing is not really a winter one. So now I will go to bed.
I also need gloves if I want to go on mylotting.

I keep forgetting that you're having winter down there. I have to do my laundry downstairs in the laundry room these days. I don't like just leaving the laundry in there just in case people come by and try to steal things, so I bring a book and sit there and it's so boring. I remember the days of putting laundry outside on the line. They always smelled so good when they came back in!
