Do you like chili in your lunch!

I was raised combining chili in every dish. Chili in my culture is most commonly added to food during lunch time. Although, I was raised eating chili, I usually don´t add it to my food. I don´t feel like eating chili. Do you ever add chili to your food?

I do not like any hot spices and wait for any hot foods to cool down before I eat them. I even put an ice cube in my coffee to cool it down. So, no chili for me.

I like sweet chili sauce but apart from that I don't much like chili as it is too hot for me. I don't like hot food as I find the heat overpowers the flavours of the other ingredients.

I find it too hot too. I prefer other ingredients in my food, but not too many, either.

@quantum2020 I don't mind a bit of heat but too much and I find you can't taste anything as it is too hot.

@Mike197602 Yes, it happens often. That is the same reason I don´t eat chili.

Oh yes absolutely...we Indians love our food to be spicy & chili is the main ingredient to make the dish hot n spicy...also, if the food is not that great (taste) then to add some zing to it, we often bite onto green chilies while having the dish

It´s the same like in my culture. When chili is not in the dish, people holds the chili in one hand to bite the chili
