Not a good decision today

As always in Florida we have days that have so many changes, weather wise and today was one of them. My husband and I kept talking about going to the pool but every time one of us was ready, the other was not. I could tell he was getting anxious and wanted to go so I finally said okay. The pool is only around the block from our house so it was not far. We saw there were not many cars in the parking lot and soon found out why. We got in the pool and there were only about 4 other people in it. Great, no crowd. We were finally alone in the water and all of a sudden a big rain shower started. Here I am, in my living room looking out the window at the sun.

I recall Mark Twain - climate is what we expect, weather is what we get - siva

At least you didn't have far to go, but sorry the rain spoiled things for you.

Ugh, Fl weather is so unpredictable. Here it has been storming a little but I know in about an hour it will be back to bright sunshine again. So strange to me. Sorry the weather ruined your pool plans.

No problem as we can always go tomorrow, maybe. At least the rain held off last night for the Daytona 500.

You win some, you lose some, and when it comes to the weather, it's a gamble every time.

Unless there is thunder and lightning around, couldn't you just stay in the pool? You're already wet. :) Just sayin....

I didn't know if we were going to have lightening. We live here so we will have many more opportunities.
