Happy Independence Day!

We will be getting the kids up soon and, after they are dressed, will be heading to Columbus, WI (about 10 minutes away) for the annual 4th of July parade. The girls will be representing their figure skating team on one of the floats. My wife and I will be walking behind the float handing out candy, leaflets, etc. Hope we can handle that. It's about a 3-mile walk and it's going to be quite warm today. After the parade, I'm not really sure what we have planned. I'm guessing we might need a bit of a break afterwards so we probably won't do too much. I do, however, have some fireworks to light off once it starts getting dark. So, we'll probably at least do that.
