Reunited in New Zealand

When I logged in on my FB account today, I saw the picture of the parents of the former housemate of my older daughter in New Zealand. The parents posed for a photo at the airport upon their arrival a few hours ago. Their granddaughter, who is very close and attached to my daughter, had a big smile on the photo with her Grandpa and Grandma. Now she will grow bigger faster because her Grandma is a great cook and will take good care of her as she did when she was still a little girl the first time her Grandma stayed with them for a visit a few years ago. The application of the grandparents for a Resident Visa under the Parent Category has been approved a few months ago and the Grandpa resigned from his job as armored car driver in the bank. I'm not sure though if the Grandma had retired or resigned from her job at the City Veterinary Office or only filed for an indefinite leave of absence which government employees are allowed to avail of up to a maximum of 2 years. Since it's a weekend, I'm sure there will be partying to welcome the newly-arrived couple.

That's a wonderful story! Being reunited with family is indeed a joy! I bet they will spend the days and nights catching up with each other.

@SIMPLYD I'm sure you will but I'm afraid you'll have to wait longer hehehe! Female doctors are sometimes married to their profession and forget to look for a husband hehehe!

That's what I heard from them. Maybe the position will be temporarily taken over by a "job order" employee. Am not so sure about this.
