In the wake of the Dallas police shooting, the officers here were on high alert yesterday but it couldn't prevent tragedy from happening. A Ballwin police officer (Ballwin is a suburb of St. Louis) is now in the ICU fighting for his life after being shot from behind during a traffic stop. The shooter, a convicted felon, was armed with semi-automatic handgun and waited until the officer was walking back to his car to open fire. The shooter was caught shortly afterwards and is charged with multiple crimes, held in jail on $500,000 cash only bond. Why he was not in prison for his previous weapons convictions is a big question to me. Here is a local news story on the incident -
A police officer has been shot in Ballwin, according to the St. Louis County Police Department.

@Lolaze Police and law enforcers need our utmost respect and support for the work that they do to provide security and protection. Police were there, surrounding the protesters making sure that the BLM protesters can have a peaceful demonstration. Apparently, the murderer had other hateful, violent idea about his fellow Americans, the police, who were there providing protection for his fellow BLM group. This is insane.
