Where Has The Time Gone?

My daughter just got out of school on summer break the first week of June and her summer break is already more than half way over. I was looking at the calender last night and realised in just four weeks she goes back to school. School starts back on August eleventh in my area. Man, it seems as if her whole break has just flown by. I also know it seems like the school term seems to go on forever. I am grown and feel this way so I could just imagine how she feels.

She's going back early. Our kids don't go back until the end of August or after Labor Day. Not sure which as I don't have kids in school any longer. Even my grandchildren have all graduated. And my youngest great granddaughters still have a couple years before they'll be going to school.

@melissa1024 That really makes it hard on parents who plan vacations around their children's summer vacation.

@just4him Yes they used to go back here after Labor Day and then each year it got earlier and earlier they went back.

@Katlynn They didn't have that many. They claim they are going back early just incase there are a lot of snow days so they won't get out as late as last year. Last year was the end of June before they got out.
