That means he will not be on leave in this first months of his job as the senator of the Philippines. This is what I heard from news disproving the statement of promoter Bob Arum that Pacquiao will have a fight this October or November. Direct from the horse mouth, Pacquiao will not absent because of his future fight plan. He said he will serve the people who voted for him in the senate. No more fights yet. He will not be another absentee legislator just like when he was in his congressman days. Nice move here for Pacquiao who I voted last election.

Oh, he will be an absentee or he will loose to his next opponent. there's no way that he can do that while debating and making laws

I hope, he won't make many absences anymore in the senate just what he did during his legislator days where he has only 4 days present last 2015.

I thought he retired already. Why are they still talking about fights? He did not attend the training for new senators and congressmen.

I was silently thanking heavens that he doesn't have the inclination to go on leave. His record as a congressman was bad enough regarding his attendance, I was expecting him to do better since he's now a senator. I didn't vote for him due to his record of absences but he did gain a bit of my respect with the news.

That would be better ! It is a shame for him if he will go absent just for his training and for his fight then ended become a loser .
