my daughter married well

I look at my daughter's life and I compare it to mine. She did so much better than my own. I married 4 times in my life because I didn't want to live alone. I was so scared of solitude that I had to have someone. I married Kid's father. I was not in love, but I liked him. I don't think I knew what love was. I wasn't ready to be a wife. I knew nothing about sex. My parents were very backward about educating rge iron children about sex. They couldn't talk about it. The told my brother to talk to me. He didn't know much himself. I was like a deer in the headlights until he was done talking and then I went outside to wait on my boyfriend to ride his bike to my house. It took him about an hour and 10 minutes to ride his bike to my house. We were engaged about a year. I was 17 when I married and I was 18 the next day. We were both virgins in our marriage. Neither of us had any clue of how to look, talk or behave or anything. It turned out he got tired of me saying no. I was scared. He forced himself on me time and time again. I hated him for that. Now my daughter had one bad marriage. He was worse to her than my experience. She divorced gim. Then several years go by and she meets Sean. She worked in a grocery store. Her workmate told her about a great man who needs a girlfriend. He was a lonely ham radio operator. As it turns out her hubby loves the ground she walks on. They have been married 16 years and he is her prince. Love you all Me

Thank you. I often wish I could have found someone like him to grow old with, but that was never to be.

I had a crush on my daughter's dad. I wasn't in love either. Just wanted to get out from under a domineering mother. Good to hear that your daughter married a good man. I guess it does happen.
