Do you ever give up on typing a discussion?

Sometimes I find myself typing out a discussion that I want to share with you guys or discuss with you guys but then I lose interest so I delete everything that I typed. I just did it 3 times before I did this one. I had things to share but not even half way through typing it out, I just deleted it all because I couldn't be bothered with the subject anymore. It became boring to me really quick. Do you ever find yourself doing that?

Loads of times Normally not through losing interest but more through thinking this may a bit of a risky topic If this was changed to an 18+ site I'd post more discussions...even some of the stuff allowed here isn't appropriate for a 13 year old in my opinion.

@Mike197602 Not that I am into that stuff either but it still fascinates me to know what people get up to in this big wide world.

I have not experienced that yet ...maybe because i have not been on here long lol . My problem is that I have s much i could be writing about ,but do not know what to talk about first. My mind runs wild sometimes and i have to hurry and write it before it leaves my head. #Thestruggle lol

@ANewGeneration oh I know that problem! lol I used to be like that when I first started. Like I used to keep a notebook with me just in case I had any ideas. Now I'm just like "meh."

@Mike197602 If you ever find it, do you think you'd still share the posts with us?

Not often, usually my discussions start because of a photo I want to share so I'll just come up with some kind of subject that will eventually get around to that photo. I do love to gab if I have a photo to share.

I wouldn't say bored but sometimes yeah I feel like I want to talk about something else. Like fluff in our belly buttons.

@Bluedoll HAHA! That's an interesting topic....I think....I mean it's a great observation about us humans and not many people talk about stuff like that.

I never type anything out till I'm satisfied with it. I jot things down first on a piece of paper, then leave it if I lose interest. Then perhaps weeks later I may go back to it and finish it. (I've lots of half finished posts lying around)

@Daljinder Yup - I figure if I've got bored, then so will any potential readers. But I may resurrect it in a different form later.

@jaboUK lol well I think that's a good idea too. Just leaving it be with a chance of using it later. Unlike me, who just deletes the whole thing. Sometimes I do regret that. I think I should start doing your method now.

@JaboUK Same here! Although mine is in a folder in my computer. I have many unfinished posts written and left in the middle because I lost interest.

Oh my goodness I've done that several times! Sometimes I try to reread what I just wrote and then I find myself being bored of it. Like I'm boring myself with my discussion lol. Probably for the best that we delete these.

@VivaLaDani13 Maybe but then I think about how if someone replies to it I have to interact with it and maybe I'm just done with the whole subject! lol!

@Bellatricks aw yeah that's true too! It can be hard to carry out a conversation if one is already bored with it. I hate going through that during a verbal conversation lol I start to drift off into dream land.

@Bellatricks haha awwww that's the thing though. We may get bored of our own discussion but it very well may interest others. It's like we our doubting ourselves about whether or not our posts are interesting to others. Well that's what happens to me sometimes anyway lol

@carebear29 That's a good idea. Small and simple. That's what I usually like to read to be honest. I love hearing what people have to say but sometimes my head is all over the place and I become distracted and drift off.

Yes. I gave up posting/typing discussions 3 months ago. Now, I'm happier just responding to other's discussion.

@rina110383 That's fair enough. As long as you're happy doing your own thing then that's all that really matters.

I have done that too. Already halfway of my topic but decided to delete it all because I think it is not so interesting and may not get the interest of the readers.
