Now is just about the perfect time to begin making your Halloween crafts. I typically like to cross stitch something. I decided last year that a cross stitch potholder for Halloween would be the project for me. I went online and found several adorable free Halloween patterns. What you see in the picture on this post is the pattern I settled on. I loved the look of this little witch. I then decided that she would look perfect on a potholder. I was right. This project turned out even nicer than I thought. Take a look online at all of the free Halloween patterns you are sure to find one that is perfect for you.

This is a really lovely pot-holder. Your witch doesn't look scary at all.

@JudyEv no, she's more of a friendly non-threatening witch. Isn't she cute?

Hard to think that it's time to think about Halloween already, but I suppose you're right. School will be on us very soon and then the holiday season follows.

@HazySue When you're doing crafts for the holidays you need to get started well ahead of time. The witch is cute.

@just4him I am someone who thinks of holidays months before they come. I love to stitch, craft and decorate.

Your potholder is adorable and I love the pattern you chose to use. I'd rather see a friendly witch than a scary one. Great cross-stiting

@Marilynda1225 out of all the patterns I saw, she is the one who stood out as the perfect one for me. I picked her because she was a friendly kind of girl.

I don't really do Halloween crafts, though I do like to carve pumpkins if kids are around.

@TheHorse I am hopeless when it comes to carving pumpkins. I wish I could make scary faces on them but they all end up loosing a mess.
